I guess this Kindle has advantages… I can get ready to nod off for the night and still knock out a bit of writing to keep my promise. Again, though, it kinda feels like cheating since I am only putting down brief snippets.
I s’pose I could use the space in a journal-like way. I did recently watch a ‘self-improvment’ Ted talk where the speaker was quite adamant about journaling. He made the point of “your life is the best teacher you have” and I do admit that I have gotten minor thrills out of reviewing old “to-do” lists. Which for a. Couple years in my life were a method I used to track progress against big goals and of course to remember the small things like get new school clothes for the kids or repair my guitar or what not.
So yesterday I concluded my guitar class with Paul Chasman at Artichoke music.
Today I rode my bike to work for the first time all summer and now I am sleepy and will stop
