Three things I am grateful for today:

(1) The traffic jam on the way to Song Salon practice … it allowed me to practice my patience, serenity,and cursive jandwritong by doing a lengthy entry in the journal I keep in my backpack (but infrequently use)

(2) having an employer with flexible work hours… if I hadn’t left a half-hour early from work, that traffic jam would have made me late

(3) the camaraderie of Eric and John in my PDX VOX singing group. It was good to have John back from his vacation because three base voices are SO much more powerful than two
