I gave myself a good chuckle this afternoon, thinking about my friend Nilsen Everson , reflecting on his character and how he might react when I tell him about my cancerous brain tumor and the terminal prognosis.

I pictured his reaction clearly ; hands come up about shoulder level … palms up , in the “what the hell am I gonna do” pose and he looks at me with a quick a head-shake and says “So?”

Haw Haw!

Gotta love that guy!

And if he does not have that reaction I’ll be disappointed!

… Follow-up after I told Nilsen (it was via email), he did NOT think this was very funny and said “that’s not my reaction” , but forgave me with “I know you prefer the humor spin”
