At 7:37pm PST I get around to thinking about “work”. It is a slice of toast at the end of trail of breadcrumbs, arriving here by way of many moons past and a path of interconnected information bits … starting with “My wife won $1000 slot-machine payout” and concluding with “Is *all* of this content appropriate for my audience?”

Deleting 771 emails from my corporate inbox was chore which I imagined would be similar to fighting the pull of a gravity well.

During the time, I reflected on the contents of some of the information, wondering if the customer data error reports had been reviewed and corrected, or if whatever issues had caused this or that UAT load problem was systemic and/or is now working properly. As I removed some of the Health Care industry news, I started wondering if I was TRULY interested or I had been only following “Fierce Healthcare” newsletter because I was “in the biz” and felt it was my duty to keep up with the state of the industry and abreast of trends…. Then I realized. Hey! I am thinking about work in the past tense!

I havn’t been “at work” for essentially the entirety of 2023 … and thought I should best let folks know “WUZZUP!”
